…Nothing else until 6:00am when we get a “maternataxi” from a place our trip computer records as 0.4miles from the hospital. Still not to complain, as it's an easy job that gets us off on time.Nighty night.

Hey when i was in labour (both times) i was driving around. And one particular time i had to drive myself to the hossie in full blown OMG What The Hell Is Going On Mode as my partner had a driving ban.I nearly crashed several times during contractions (as the hossie made me wait at home all day in labour and by the time i got in i was 5-6 cm dilated), but luckily we didnt live far from the hospital.
Be glad you had to do a pick up, and not an emergancy car crash call where mum and baby are really injured.

Don't knock hormonal women in labour, you can't expect us to drive, that would be a nightmare and besides who could afford the hospital parking (if available)
